Biography

Dr. Murillo was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. He went to Dental School at Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. He validated his graduate studies of dentistry in dental surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2005. Upon graduation from dental school Dr. Murillo completed a one year residency program in general dentistry (GPR) at the Saint Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York. Dr. Murillo later completed a two year orthodontic residency program at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics earning a certificate of advance graduate studies in orthodontics (C.A.G.S).

Dr. Murillo obtained an award from the American Association of Orthodonticsfor his interest in the growth and development of the craneo-facial complex and also received a prize for his research thesis during his orthodontic training. Dr. Murillo is an active member of the American association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He has taken numerous hours of continuing education in orthodontics and passing the phase I examination for board certification.
