Dr. Margarita Potashnikova (known as Dr. Margarita by her patients) is a board-certified pediatric dentist who strives to provide high quality dental care in a stress-free environment.
 
Dr. Margarita began her professional journey at Pace University, New York, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Magna Cum Laude honors. She continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. To further master her skills in dentistry, Dr. Margarita served as a general practice resident at Maimonides Medical Center. In this role, having the opportunity to work with kids, she realized that she can have a profound lifelong impact on dental experience of her young patients. 

Following her calling, Dr Margarita completed a two-year Specialty Training Program at Maimonides Medical Center, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, where she received a Certificate of a Pediatric Dentist.
 
Dr. Margarita believes that pediatric dentistry is not a destination, but rather is a journey and her major responsibility is to make this journey as pleasant and enjoyable for her patients as possible, while taking care of their dental needs.
 
Dr. Potashnikova is a Diplomate of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Margarita loves travelling, horseback riding and spending time with her friends and family.
