Dr. Ruben Villarreal, DMD, is a general dentist with more than 20 years of experience caring for children, adolescents, and young adults. He completed his undergraduate studies at Universidad El Bosque in Bogotá, Colombia, and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale.
His practice focuses on children and on young adults who have outgrown traditional pediatric dental care. He provides first dental visits, routine cleanings and exams, sealants, tooth-colored fillings, nerve treatment, crowns, space maintainers, fluoride treatments, nitrous oxide sedation, extractions, and emergency care.
Dr. Villarreal is especially skilled at guiding young adults through the transition to adult dental care, and at building trust from the first visit so that every appointment feels calm and unhurried for patients and parents alike.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida Dental Association. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is proud to serve a diverse community. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing soccer.
A calm first visit shapes how a child feels about the dentist for years. That's what our team works for at every appointment, with care adapted to each child.
