Obtuvo su doctorado en cirugía dental (DDS) en la Facultad de Medicina Dental de la Universidad de Columbia en la ciudad de Nueva York. Posteriormente, realizó una residencia especializada de dos años en el Hospital Infantil Nicklaus de Odontología Pediátrica.
Está certificada en Odontología Pediátrica por la Junta Estadounidense de Odontología Pediátrica (ABPD) y tiene privilegios hospitalarios en hospitales infantiles locales.
